Hostinger, Namecheap and Bluehost are web hosting brands. DigitalOcean is a cloud platform. None of them sell customer-owned-hardware colocation — so the fair comparison is against what a colocation buyer actually looks at.

Dedicated cabinet, no sharing
A four-post rack with single or dual PDUs and custom cable routing. Nobody else’s gear. Nobody else’s access. You can fill it over time without moving anything.
RackTwo independent feeds that can be upgraded as you add hardware. Power is the real limit in colocation. If one feed fails or needs maintenance, the other keeps the rack running.
PowerSpare capacity beyond your load, with diverse network paths, so one failed component does not take your equipment down.
RedundancyA second uplink removes a single point of failure. No meter means no surprise bill. Uplinks can scale from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps as you grow.
NetworkAS151704, with public peering at Extreme IX Delhi. You connect through a network VyomCloud operates, not a reseller’s.
ASNA direct link to a carrier, partner or your other rack. Copper from ₹1,000/month, fiber from ₹5,000/month (plus one-time charges). You can budget the whole project upfront.
Cross connectsBiometric entry, CCTV, mantraps and round-the-clock security staff. You can reach your hardware at 3 a.m. and know nobody else can. DDoS protection and IP transit are available if you need them.
SecurityOn-site engineers reboot, swap parts and check cabling. 30 minutes a month are included; more is available on demand. Private cages, higher power density and a dedicated account manager are available for larger needs.
SupportAn IT head runs ERP, file servers and databases in a cupboard that overheats. They move the same servers into a cabinet with dual-feed power and carrier-neutral uplinks, and keep full control of the hardware.
An engineering lead’s bill for 15+ rented servers keeps climbing. At a steady load, buying the hardware once and paying a flat fee for space, power and bandwidth is often cheaper. Run your own numbers.
They need their own IP space and room for racks of nodes. 20 IPv4 addresses, cross connects and published pricing let them model margins up front.
A CIO with a primary site elsewhere needs a second location for replicas and standby servers. Dual-feed power, 24/7 access and remote hands cover the routine checks.
A platform team runs Proxmox, VMware or KVM on its own nodes. 42U holds compute, storage and switching in one cabinet.
A data team needs more power per rack than a standard plan. Start at 10 Amps and scale up. Do the power maths before you buy (see the FAQ), because GPU servers can use most of an allocation alone.
Companies, local or overseas, that want data on equipment they control in India, or low latency to Indian users.
Some providers use the term for a smaller footprint. Always compare rack-unit counts when you compare quotes.
₹50,000 a month for 42U, the plans on either side, and the cross-connect charges — all on the page. Many colocation pages stop at “contact us”.
Dual A+B feeds, dual uplinks and N+1 cooling come with the full rack. No bandwidth meter either — unmetered bandwidth removes a monthly calculation and a monthly risk.
Own ASN (AS151704) with public peering at Extreme IX Delhi. Anyone can look it up on PeeringDB. Run live tests through the Looking Glass before you commit.
Moving steady workloads from cloud to owned hardware can reduce infrastructure costs with predictable monthly fees.
Keep ERP, databases and file servers on controlled hardware while the facility manages power, cooling and security.
Published IP and cross-connect pricing helps agencies model margins, while dedicated cabinets separate client workloads.
Bare metal gives teams control over hypervisors, storage and network design for performance tuning and hardware access.
Dual-feed power, second uplinks, 24/7 access and physical security support continuity planning, audits and larger deployments.
Dedicated hardware suits workloads that need consistent resources for databases and other performance-sensitive systems.
Businesses that need direct control can run their own hardware while relying on the facility for core data-center operations.
Hear from businesses that trust Vyom Cloud for their infrastructure needs
"We moved our ERP and databases out of a hot office cupboard into a 42U cabinet. Same servers, far fewer 3 a.m. calls."
"The published cross-connect pricing let us budget the whole network project before we signed anything."
"Buying our own hardware and paying a flat monthly fee for space, power and bandwidth cut our recurring bill noticeably."
"24/7 biometric access plus remote hands means we can ship a spare part and have it swapped without flying anyone out."
Everything you need to know before you deploy your own hardware in a VyomCloud full rack.
Full rack colocation hosting means renting an entire server cabinet, typically 42U, inside a data center and installing your own servers in it. The provider supplies space, power, cooling, network connectivity and physical security. You own and manage the hardware. It suits businesses that want control and a fixed monthly cost.
The 42U cabinet, A+B power from 10 Amps, two 1 Gbps uplinks, unmetered bandwidth, 20 IPv4 addresses, cooling, security monitoring, 24/7 access and 30 minutes of remote hands per month. Cross connects, extra remote-hands time and extra power are priced separately.
Choose a full rack when you will use more than about 24U soon, need the second uplink and extra IPs, or want space for switches and storage. Going from 24U to 42U costs ₹20,000 more for 18 extra units, which is the lowest cost per U.
Yes. You bring or ship your hardware, and our team can help plan the move, with remote hands for racking and cabling. Tell us your current setup and target date.
The facility uses CCTV, biometric access, mantraps and 24/7 security staff, and your cabinet is lockable and not shared. You remain responsible for securing your own servers and software.
Yes. Cross connects are available: copper at ₹10,000 one-time plus ₹1,000 monthly, and fiber at ₹30,000 one-time plus ₹5,000 monthly.
VyomCloud’s 42U full rack costs ₹50,000 per month. That includes dual A+B power feeds starting at 10 Amps, dual 1 Gbps uplinks, unmetered bandwidth and 20 public IPv4 addresses. Smaller options are 12U at ₹20,000 and 24U at ₹30,000. Ask our team about taxes, set-up and term options when you order.
Add the wattage of your equipment and divide by the supply voltage to get amps. At 230 V, 10 Amps is about 2.3 kW. A few standard servers fit, but dense compute or GPU servers can exceed it. Tell us your planned hardware and we will recommend the right power allocation.
It depends on scale and workload. Colocation gives full hardware control and flat monthly costs, which tends to suit steady, larger footprints. Dedicated servers suit small deployments where you don’t want to buy hardware. Cloud suits workloads that change fast. Many businesses mix them.
Yes. Access is 24/7 with biometric, ID-verified entry.
Yes. 30 minutes per month are included for reboots, part swaps and cable checks. More time is available on demand.
Yes. You can raise power as you add hardware, and larger or custom builds with private cages are available through sales.
